NASCAR SPEEDPARK CONCORD MILLS TO HOST CHARLOTTE CHECKERS TEAM MEMBERS AS WELL AS NASCAR DRIVERS TODD KLUEVER AND SEAN CAISSE FOR MEET AND GREET

BACKGROUND: NASCAR SpeedPark Concord Mills, the "Official Family Fun Park of NASCAR ", will host Charlotte Checkers team members as well as NASCAR Roush Racing Busch driver, Todd Kluever, and NASCAR Busch Series East driver, Sean Caisse, on Tuesday, January 16 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. for a special meet and greet event. This complimentary event will offer all those in attendance the opportunity to mingle with their favorite hockey players and NASCAR drivers as well as receive their autographs.

This meet and greet event is held to promote Charlotte Checkers Race Night game on Friday, January 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bobcats Arena. Racing themed, The Charlotte Checkers Race Night game against the South Carolina Sting Rays will feature several NASCAR cars on display and will introduce the Extreme Ice Center's Bumper Cars, an intermission activity providing fans with the opportunity to enter a NASCAR style race on the ice. A portion of the proceeds raised during the Charlotte Checkers Race Night game will benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp, a year round facility which enriches the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering, in a safe and medically sound environment. Victory Junction Gang Camp is supported by the NASCAR Foundation.
