NASCAR® SPEEDPARK™ CONCORD MILLS TO HOST INAUGURAL CHILD SAFETY DAY

Official Family Fun Park of NASCAR® Partners with Radio Disney to Host Family Friendly Event

Representatives from NASCAR® SpeedPark Concord Mills today announced that the park will host Child Safety Day, a family friendly spring event focused on promoting child safety in the Charlotte area, on Saturday, April 21 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Offering a variety of educational activities, NASCAR SpeedPark Concord Mills, in conjunction with Radio Disney, will host the Concord fire and police departments who will conduct an array of educational demonstrations such as how to successfully create a child ID kit and how to properly secure child safety seats in vehicles. Games such as the Band-Aid Brigade - an exciting game where children race to place the most band-aids on their parents; and the Red Cross Wrap Up - a high paced game where children must wrap their parents in Ace bandages; will highlight this safety event.

"Child safety is an extremely important topic," said Dan Ryan, general manager for NASCAR SpeedPark Concord Mills. "At NASCAR SpeedPark Concord Mills, our main focus is the safety our guests and we feel it is our duty to arm them with the tools they need to assure their families are protected at all times, in or outside of their homes. Our Child Safety Day event promotes child safety awareness while offering a variety of entertaining activities for the entire family. We look forward to a very successful event."
