NASCAR&reg; SpeedPark&#8482; Vaughan will host the Miss Canada and Teen Canada delegates for a meet-and-greet with fans on Sunday, August 12 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The delegates will be available to answer questions from the media as well as sign autographs for fans. This event is free and open to the public.

<b>About Miss Canada/Teen Canada International</b>
<P>
Miss Canada/Teen Canada International is the largest scholarship achievement program in Canada for young ladies.  Pageants in Canada are very different then in the states. The organization prides itself on assisting young women to achieve their goals by obtaining a higher education, by giving out scholarships. They are owned by a Board of Volunteer Directors, across Canada and funded completely on sponsorship. 
<P>
The role of the national titleholder is to be a national role model and mentor for young people of today and a spokesperson for women of all ages, ethic groups and career paths. Miss Canada/Teen Canada International travels throughout Canada visiting schools speaking on mentorship, bullying, drugs in the world of youth today and obtaining their goals and achieving them. These young women are looked up to. These young ladies visit seniors homes, hospitals, attend special events, trade shows, film festivals etc. At the end of their year they receive a scholarship to further their education, they must attend school or have completed school already in order to receive the scholarship, as it is not a cash award. While they travel throughout Canada all of their costs are taken care of accommodations, meals and travel as well as all wardrobe and other needs.
