General Park Info

NASCAR SpeedPark operates all year! Weโ€™re open daily from March through October. Our schedule varies from November through February. Please remember that our website is always the most accurate source to check our daily hours during your visit. You can always view the detailed Operating Calendar here.

Admission to the park is free, and guests may leave and re-enter as often as they like. Guests who purchase an Unlimited Ride Wristband may also leave and re-enter the park and continue using their wristband on the same day of purchase. If you plan to swim while away from the park, please speak with an Admissions team member before leaving for instructions on how to preserve your wristband.

If you realize that you lost an item after leaving the park, please Click Here to fill out our lost and found form.ย  If you need to reach out about a lost item during traditional business hours on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., feel free to call 865-908-5500.ย

It is imperative that each group establishes a meeting point for family and friends. It is also recommended that younger children be shown the Admissions counter upon arrival at the park. Any parent seeking to report a lost child or a lost child seeking a parent should report to the Admissions counter for help. However, any NASCAR SpeedPark team member in the park may be approached and will assist in locating family or friends.

While we love animals, pets are not permitted at NASCAR SpeedPark.

Tracks & Rides

Guest safety is our top priority. For that reason, guests wearing a cast are not permitted to participate on any go-kart track, ride, or attraction at NASCAR SpeedPark.

If you have questions about a cast, brace, splint, or other medical device, please speak with a Manager on Duty. We will be happy to review the situation with you and answer any questions regarding our safety policies.

Most tracks and rides at NASCAR SpeedPark are based on height requirements rather than age requirements. Eligibility for rides and go-kart tracks is determined by a guest’s height and ability to safely participate.

NASCAR SpeedPark offers attractions for a wide range of ages, from young children to adults. However, the Smoky Mountain Speedway is reserved for licensed drivers and requires participants to be at least 16 years old and present a valid driver’s license.

Our team members will check a guestโ€™s height at each attraction before being allowed to enter. The height requirements can be found in advance on the Go-Kart Tracks, Rides and Attractions pages on our website.

Several NASCAR SpeedPark go-kart tracks feature double-seater karts, allowing an adult driver to share the racing experience with a younger passenger.

Driver and passenger age, height, and participation requirements vary by track and are strictly enforced for safety reasons. Please review the specific requirements listed for each attraction before your visit.

For detailed information about double-seater kart availability, height requirements, and rider eligibility, please visit our Go-Kart Racing page.

Most guests can comfortably enjoy NASCAR SpeedPark’s go-karts. Because every guest is different, fit can vary based on height, weight, and body proportions.

To ensure a safe experience, all drivers and passengers must be able to fit comfortably and securely in the go-kart and meet all track or ride requirements. If you are unsure whether a particular track or ride will be a good fit, please speak with a Manager on Duty during your visit.

Our team will be happy to answer questions and help you find attractions that best suit your needs.

No. Closed-toed shoes are not required for most NASCAR SpeedPark tracks or rides.

However, guests participating in Victory Burnout must wear closed-toed footwear. Additional attraction-specific safety requirements may apply.

If you have questions about footwear or attraction requirements, please speak with a Manager on Duty during your visit.

Helmets are not required for most NASCAR SpeedPark tracks.

One exception is the Smoky Mountain Speedway, where helmets are required and provided to all participants who meet the requirements to purchase a wristband for this experience.

Guest safety is our top priority. Guests should always follow attraction-specific rules and the instructions of park staff. If you have questions about helmet use or attraction-specific safety requirements, please speak with a Manager on Duty during your visit.

To provide the safest and most enjoyable racing experience possible, NASCAR SpeedPark carefully manages the number of go-karts operating on each track.

While it may seem like adding more karts would increase the excitement, limiting the number of racers on the track actually creates a better experience by reducing congestion, improving race flow, and giving drivers more opportunities to enjoy the course. The number of karts in operation may vary based on track conditions, weather, and other operational factors.

Our goal is to deliver a fun, competitive, and safe racing experience for every guest.
