General Park Info
NASCAR SpeedPark operates all year! We’re open daily from March through October. Our schedule varies from November through February. Please remember that our website is always the most accurate source to check our daily hours during your visit. You can always view the detailed Operating Calendar here.
Yes. Admission to the park is free and guests may leave and re-enter as often as they desire. Guests purchasing an Unlimited Ride or Rookie Wristband are welcome to leave and re-enter the park and continue to use their wristbands ONLY on the same day of purchase. If you plan to go swimming while away from the park, please speak with Admissions prior to leaving for guidance on how to preserve your wristband.
If you realize that you lost an item after leaving the park, please Click Here to fill out our lost and found form. If you need to reach out about a lost item during traditional business hours on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., feel free to call 865-908-5500.
It is imperative that each group establishes a meeting point for family and friends. It is also recommended that younger children be shown the Admissions counter upon arrival at the park. Any parent seeking to report a lost child or a lost child seeking a parent should report to the Admissions counter for help. However, any NASCAR SpeedPark team member in the park may be approached and will assist in locating family or friends.
Although we do not allow food or drink to be brought into NASCAR SpeedPark, we do have a variety of meal and snack offerings. However, if you choose to eat elsewhere, or must leave for any other reason throughout the day, please remember that your wristband is your return ticket to the park on the date of purchase.
No, we’re sorry but dogs and other pets are not permitted. NASCAR SpeedPark welcomes service animals on a leash or harness wearing a service vest. Service animals are not permitted on the attractions or go-kart tracks. If you are looking for a daycare spot for your pet, Smoky Dog Lodge in Sevierville is located about 5 miles from the park. For more information on Smoky Dog Lodge, visit www.smokydoglodge.com

Rides & Attractions
The ability to participate on all of our attractions is based on height, not age. Smoky Mountain Speedway, Victory Burnout & Spin Zone Bumper cars are the only attractions that have a minimum age requirement. We are a values-driven organization with guest safety as one of our core company values. As part of that focus, we strive to ensure that the height requirements for each go-kart track, ride and attraction are met. Our team members will check a guest’s height at each attraction before being allowed to enter. The height requirements can be found in advance on the Go-Kart Tracks, Rides and Attractions pages on our website.
You can enjoy riding with a passenger on four tracks: Family 500, The Competitor, Slidewayz and Young Champions. To drive a double-seater kart, you must be 18 years of age and 60” tall. To ride as a passenger, you must be between 40” and 60” tall.
While each guest is unique, we will make every effort to accommodate you during your visit. Our go-karts can operate with up to 300 pounds capacity weight, and we offer seatbelt extenders and double-seater karts for guests who need additional space. We do allow guests to sit in the karts before they purchase their wristband to make sure they can comfortably ride.
No, we do not require guests to wear closed-toed shoes.
Helmets are not required to drive on 7 of the go-kart tracks at NASCAR SpeedPark. Helmets are required to drive Smoky Mountain Speedway. Helmets are provided at the track. Safety harnesses are in place on all karts and careful attention is given to each rider prior to racing by our track attendants to make sure that each person is secured safely.
To ensure the safety of our guests and team members, we limit the maximum number of go-karts per race. We keep extra karts on each track in case we need to switch out a kart for refueling or mechanical issues. We also have a larger fleet on the tracks which run both double-seater and single-seater go-karts.
Individuals wearing a leg or arm cast, wrap, sling or other protective device will NOT be permitted to drive or ride as a passenger on our go-karts. Also, guests with a cervical collar or neck brace will NOT be allowed to participate as a driver or passenger. Please ask to speak with the manager on duty if you have any questions.
